Two people were killed and one was seriously hurt when an over-sized piece of equipment fell off a trailer and hit a car, trapping the people inside. Authorities in Texas are looking into what happened.
Temple Fire and Rescue says that just before 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, they were called to State Highway 36, just west of Highway 317, for a report of a crash.
When the workers got there, they said an over-sized load had come off of the trailer and pinned a car underneath.
Officials thought that the transport fleet was carrying about 350,000 pounds worth of goods. The police did not say what the huge piece of was.
Two passengers died from their injuries, and a third person was rescued and taken to the emergency room with injuries that could kill them.
Officials say it took just over four hours of extrication work to safely get the driver out of the car.
Temple Fire and Rescue said that 25 people from ten units came to help with the accident.
Officials said they are still looking into what caused the crash.
The names of the dead have not been made public.
