The three individuals who were reported to have stolen American flags from a suburban community in Pennsylvania are currently being sought by the Pennsylvania police.
This past Saturday, the Macungie Police Department published a message on their Facebook page regarding the event. A security footage was uploaded by the department, which showed three individuals going down a road while clutching stolen flags.
“Macungie PD is seeking information and the identity of the 2 males and female in the video,” according to the Facebook post. “They were last seen in the Lea St area stealing American Flags from several residential homes.”
The three individuals under suspicion are seen on the footage strolling down the street early on Saturday morning. Anger was shown by users in the comments section of the post in response to the video.
“When they catch them they should be required to go to each home and replace the flags and apologize to the homeowners,” according to a particular individual. “Not have Mom and Dad buy the flag either, if they do the crime they can do the time working to repair or replace what they damage.”
Another user on Facebook said, “It’s likely that they stole flags because they were taught to despise the United States of America.”
“Are you serious?! A third critic asked, “What exactly is wrong with these particular children?” The incident is currently being carefully investigated by the authorities.
