According to the police, the hunt for a lady who had been missing since February 28 came to a tragic end when they reported that the body of Amanda Nenigar had been successfully located.
In a statement released late on Friday evening, the La Paz County Sheriff’s Office in Arizona announced that the body of a 27-year-old woman was discovered along the border between California and Arizona. This discovery came about one month after the woman was reported missing.
Nenigar was reportedly spotted alive for the final time on February 28 near Blythe, California, according to officials from the county.
Prior to the 12th of March, the authorities said that Nenigar’s vehicle was discovered in a remote region of La Paz County, which is located south of Cibola.
“The family has been informed, and a statement has been published acknowledging their need for privacy and expressing gratitude to the general public for their support in locating Amanda. According to a statement released by the sheriff’s office, “We ask that you please respect the family during this time and refrain from spreading rumors and assumptions.”
The details of the events that led up to her passing and the manner in which she passed away were not immediately public.
“This is still an active investigation and a pending autopsy will determine the cause of death,” according to government sources.
Amanda Nenigar’s family has issued a statement regarding her passing, which was posted in a Facebook group called “Find Amanda Nenigar.”
“It is with a heavy heart that we must report to you all that she was discovered dead last night, on Friday, March 29th, 2024. She is no longer a missing persons case,” the statement read. According to the post, “We have a lot of questions, and we have been informed that an investigation into her death is currently underway, and an autopsy will be performed afterward.” Her passing has left a hole in our hearts, and we will miss her terribly. We would appreciate it if you would give our family some space while we grieve the loss of Amanda and get ready for the days that lie ahead of us.
