RICHFIELD, Wis. – A 42-year-old woman from Wisconsin died, and a 41-year-old guy was arrested after what police think was a murder early in the morning.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office started their investigation on Thursday morning when they were sent to a home in the 3500 block of Pleasant Hill for a 911 call that had been left unanswered.
When the cops got to the house, they found the woman dead. The suspect, a guy from Richfield who is 41 years old, was caught at the scene and is being held right now.
Deputies say that the suspect and the victim know each other and that there is no longer a threat to the public since the suspect is in custody.
The case is still going on, and the Washington County Sheriff’s Office won’t release names just yet out of respect for the families.
As the investigation goes on, more details will be given.
