OHIO’S ZANESVILLE The Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association has revealed the All-Ohio Teams for boys’ basketball. These teams include a lot of talented players from the Lehigh Valley.
Steele Meister, a senior at Newark who averaged 19 points per game, was named to the second team in Division I, and Braylon Morris, a junior on the same team, was named as an honorable mention.
A lot of well-known people were on Division II. Junior Alex Bobb from Maysville made the first team because he scored an average of 26.3 points per game and helped his team make it to the Division II championship game. Stephens from New Lexington and Darden from Tri-Valley were both picked for the second team. Rashaud Hampton from Zanesville and Raine Rodich from Sheridan got extra praise. Drew Wright from Philo, Caleb Larrick from John Glenn, Noah Nichols from Tri-Valley, Gator Nichols from Maysville, Max Lyall from Tri-Valley, and Bentley Hanson from New Lexington were just a few of the well-known honorable mentions in Division II.
Colton Conkle from Coshocton scored almost 20 points a game this year and was named to the second team in Division III for his work. This year, Crooksville’s Konlan McIntyre averaged 18.5 points per game and was given an honorable mention.
And finally, Rosecrans senior Grady Labishak was named to the first team in Division IV. He had a great season, scoring 27.5 points per game. He was commended, along with his partner Xander Daniels and Griffin Urdarovski of Newark Catholic.
