Times Square Terror Shocking Footage Captures Chase Before Vendor Gunned Down

Wild video shows a group of youngsters brawling near Times Square , moments before one of them allegedly pulled a gun and shot a street vendor Wednesday.

The armed thugs were caught on camera chasing down an unidentified man near a food cart at Seventh Avenue and West 47th Street after a 5 a.m. dispute, witnesses and police sources said.

The clip captured a man, who appeared to be armed with a small knife, running away from the group as punches flew.

The screaming youngsters appeared to be trying to retrieve a backpack from the man, the footage shows.

“It looked like a bunch of people pouring out of the subway. They just started fighting each other,” witness Rob Rosenberg told The Post.

“Someone was yelling about something being stolen.”

At one point, the knife-brandishing man was filmed flinging the bag onto the street before he walked off in the direction of a food cart.

Rosenberg, who filmed the ordeal and shared with @PokeAndProdcast, recalled four to five gunshots being fired just moments after he stopped recording.

A 29-year-old food vendor ended up taking a bullet to his right arm, law enforcement sources said.

It wasn’t immediately clear if the street vendor was the knife-wielding man filmed fleeing from the group or if he was an innocent bystander.

“As soon as the shots went off, everyone within that group … ran down 48th Street towards 8th Ave,” the witness said.

The shooting erupted after a dispute, the sources said. A person of interest was taken into custody hours after the shooting, according to sources.

That person was allegedly caught on video tucking a gun into his waistband in the wake of the shooting, the sources added.

The injured victim, meanwhile, was taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition, cops said.

Police said they are still investigating the incident and that no arrests had been made as of Wednesday afternoon.
