The Bones of a Missing Georgia Woman Were Found in Tennessee

The bones that were found near a Volkswagen plant in Tennessee were found to belong to a 20-year-old woman from Georgia who had been reported missing.

A news statement from the Cobb County Police Department says that Maury-Ange Faith Martinez was last seen in Gwinnett County, Georgia, on August 28, 2023. No information about how she went missing was given, but it was thought that Martinez went missing in rural Cobb County.

The bones were found on January 5, 2024, according to the cops. Police in Chattanooga, Tennessee, say the body parts were found in a rural area close to a Volkswagen assembly plant. A little over 130 miles south of Nashville is the building.

Martinez’s absence is still being looked into. The police want anyone who knows anything about her case to come forward.

A nearby news station quoted Martinez’s mother, Anita Darling, as saying that her daughter loved “fashion, color, photography” and “making people feel good.” She said she had been gone while on her way to pick up her daughter. Her family is still looking for answers.

“Something bad happened to her,” Darling said. “I deserve to know and so do her sisters.” Say something now.”
