After calling out the White House for not deporting illegal immigrants, Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) called President Joe Biden a “lifelong racist.”
Mace did an interview with Fox News host Jon Scott on Sunday in which she attacked the administration’s immigration policies, such as not finishing the border wall and going against Donald Trump’s orders.
The lawmaker from South Carolina said that the lack of border security has caused more crime and deaths in the United States. As the 2024 election cycle has gone on, Republicans have used immigration as an issue to attack the Biden campaign.
“Even in my district, an illegal alien killed an infant on the roads in South Carolina just last week,” Mace said. “Deaths are happening.” Every day in this country, illegal immigrants hurt people, and we need to stop it.
Not long after saying this, Mace said that Biden has been racist his whole life and that Trump has “more significant support amongst Black voters” than any other Republican.
SCOTT: Does the president have a lot of trouble with Black people in South Carolina? And, to be honest, the whole country.
MACE: I believe he is in big trouble. The polls in key states show that he is behind Trump in all but one of them. He needs as many people to vote for him and back him as possible. What’s wrong is that he hasn’t done what he said he would do for black and brown African-American neighborhoods. And he needs these people to vote. But when I look at Joe Biden, I see that he has always been racist.
It was said that this man didn’t want his kids to grow up in a racist “jungle.” There was also the time when he told Black people, “you ain’t Black” if they didn’t vote for him. And I don’t think that kind of harsh talk will win over Black people’s hearts and minds.
Of course, you can see that today. He’s been a very unpopular president. Nobody is better off under Joe Biden than they were under Donald Trump. This includes black people and women. He hasn’t kept any of his promises about inflation, the border, or jobs.
And according to the polls, Donald Trump has more support from Black people than any other Republican I can think of in recent memory. Would you like to be president? Some of those people are saying, “Hey, we’re not going to vote Democratic.” That’s what the numbers for Joe Biden show now.
