The state of Maryland The Maryland State Board of Elections said that more than 600,000 people have asked to receive their votes by mail before the 2024 Presidential primary election.
Requests for absentee voters to get a ballot began to be sent out on March 27. Requests for voters to get a print-at-home ballot so that they could send in the forms using their own envelope began to be delivered on March 29.
People who asked to have a vote mailed to them began getting those envelopes on March 29.
Voters should get all of their votes by April 8th at the latest.
The state board of elections says that the primary election will have the most mail-in votes in a non-covid year in the history of the state.
