Monday, First Lady Jill Biden Will Go to North Carolina. Set to Travel to Greenville and Greensboro

Next week, First Lady Jill Biden will be in North Carolina.

Biden is set to arrive at Pitt-Greenville Airport in Greenville at noon on Monday.

Biden is going to Pitt Community College in Winterville on Monday at 12:30 p.m. In her speech, she is supposed to talk about how career-connected learning programs are changing high school and giving kids new ways to get jobs.

Ben Biden is set to land at Greensboro’s Piedmont Triad International Airport at 2:30 p.m. on Monday.

The first lady will go to Guilford Technical Community College in Greensboro on Monday at 3:15 p.m. She is going to be part of a roundtable discussion with state leaders, local leaders, teachers, and students to talk about attempts at the federal, state, and local levels to connect school learning with careers.

Biden will be in North Carolina for the second time in as many months on Monday. In March, she went to Science Triangle Park to talk about the efforts of the Biden administration to put women’s health science and funding at the top of the list.

In a rare joint visit last month, President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris went to Raleigh to talk about their views on health care and reproductive rights.
It is likely that North Carolina will be a very important swing state again in the 2024 presidential race.

The Biden campaign and the Trump campaign, which is likely to be the Republican nominee for president, will both be highly focused on North Carolina in the coming months.

Democrats also want to keep the governor’s mansion and break the GOP’s veto-proof supermajority in the state senate. Republicans, on the other hand, want to take over important Democratic offices like governor and attorney general.
