Police say that a woman from Florida went on a rage at a Wawa and stabbed a man with a big knife before committing other crimes.
From FOX 13 Tampa we know that 37-year-old Christina Marie Crane was charged with attempted felony murder, criminal mischief, and severe assault. A more serious charge of battery with a dangerous weapon was also brought against her.
FOX 13 was told by the Pinellas Park Police Department that the event happened at a Wawa on Gandy Boulevard on Friday night around 10 p.m.
The suspect was apparently drunk and in a state of “excited delirium” when she went into the store, according to the police.
It is said that Crane took a fixed-blade knife from the deli and used it to stab a man, making him bleed. He got some cuts and scrapes on his left hand.
Police say that after leaving the Wawa, the suspect went into an office and held the knife to the head of a female worker. The office worker said she told her, “I will kill you.”
Crane is also accused of throwing the knife that almost hit another office worker woman. According to reports, she also broke computer monitors in the office, which cost more than $1,000 to fix.
