In the early hours of Wednesday morning, several inches of rain fell in certain regions of Texas, as well as in certain regions of South Louisiana, which resulted in serious flooding.
Photos that have been posted on social media show a cemetery in Kirbyville, Texas, that is submerged in water, and unfortunately, some caskets are stacked against trees.
We witnessed something quite similar to this after Hurricane Katrina when caskets were raised to the surface once sufficient water had crept below the surface. If you remember, this is something that we observed.
Later in the day, crews in Kirbyville were attempting to identify the gravesites from where the caskets originated to discover where they originated.
Regrettably, families of loved ones who are buried at this cemetery will be compelled to bury their loved ones once more in the hope that anything like this will never occur again.
According to reports, the city of Kirbyville, Texas, received almost 13 inches of rain on Wednesday morning as a result of storms that moved throughout the region and eventually moved into the state of Louisiana.
