A Man From Indiana Who Was Wanted For Vehicular Murder Was Caught In Fayette County

In Fayette County, West Virginia, police caught a man who was wanted in Indiana for multiple counts of vehicular murder.

Reports from the U.S. Marshals Service say that 59-year-old Glen Franklin Dent of Munice, Indiana, was arrested in the Gauley Bridge area around 7:45 PM on Monday, April 1, 2024. He was arrested by members of the U.S. Marshals Southern District of West Virginia Cops United Felony Fugitive Enforcement Division (CUFFED) Task Force and Fayette County Sheriff’s Deputies.

The news statement said that Dent was wanted in Madison County, Indiana, on three counts of vehicular murder and other charges. In an alleged drunk driving accident on August 10, 2021, Dent hurt many people and killed one guy.

Dent has been trying to avoid being caught since August 2022.

Three counts of vehicular murder, three counts of causing death while operating a motor vehicle while impaired, three counts of causing serious bodily injury while operating a motor vehicle while impaired, possession of cocaine, and carrying a handgun without a license were filed against Dent. He was wanted.

It was helped by the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office, the U.S. Marshals Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force, and the U.S. Marshals CUFFED Task Force.
