CHICAGO – In connection with a string of armed robberies that occurred on the West and Northwest sides of Chicago in December 2023, a young man who is 17 years old has been charged with various offenses over the entire incident.
According to the police, the adolescent, whose identity has not been disclosed, was brought into custody on Thursday at two o’clock in the afternoon on the 2000 block of North Laramie Avenue.
The charges against him include six counts of armed robbery with a firearm, one crime of aggravated vehicle hijacking with a handgun, and one act of attempted robbery with a firearm. All of these charges are considered to be felonies.
