San Antonio, TX: Texas police say a high school student saw the body of a woman on the side of the highway in San Antonio while she was riding the bus.
Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar said in a Facebook news conference that the student called her mom to tell her about what she saw on her way to school on May 1 and to give her specifics about where she saw it.
Salazar said the mother drove out to the scene and called the police when she saw the body. Police think the woman was between 30 and 40 years old.
Salazar said she was dressed in sports clothes, had a flower tattoo on her left arm, and had her hair pulled back in pigtails.
As well as early signs of decomposition, Salazar said the women’s bodies showed signs of violence. Furthermore, he thinks “she has been there for some time.”
Salazar thought the woman might have been hit by a car because her body showed signs of being hurt. He said it was possible that her body had been dumped there because it was farther from the road.
The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office said that they are still looking into the case.
