Orlando’s Brittney Beadle Dies After Courageous Battle With Breast Cancer

Orlando’s Brittney Beadle, 29, remembered for courage, advocacy, and compassion after passing from metastatic breast cancer.

The Orlando community is mourning the loss of Brittney Heavan Beadle, 29, who passed away on June 14, 2026, after a courageous battle with metastatic breast cancer.

Born on December 5, 1996, in Taylor, Pennsylvania, Brittney was the beloved daughter of Karla and Nicholas Beadle, wife of Patrick Coppieters, sister to Jesse Beadle, granddaughter of Anne Petillo, aunt to Rosie Mae Vincent, and daughter‑in‑law to Andrea Cardoso.

She also shared a special bond with her grandmother‑in‑law, Lucia Cardoso, and her rescue dog, Buck, who was her constant companion throughout her journey.

Brittney lived life in full color, embracing every moment with joy, creativity, and resilience. She loved nature, holidays, animals, and travel, finding beauty in the simple pleasures of life. Journaling, reading, arts and crafts, and designing inspirational clothing were among her favorite pastimes, each reflecting her desire to spread hope and positivity.

Holidays held a special place in her heart, with Christmas lights and Halloween decorations bringing her immense joy.

Adventure was her love language, and she embodied it fully by converting a minivan into a tiny home and traveling to more than 25 states, creating memories that reflected her free spirit and determination to live life on her own terms.

Her advocacy and achievements were remarkable. Brittney walked in New York Fashion Week with AnaOno from 2017 to 2019, redefining beauty and confidence for women living with breast cancer.

She authored the book A Peace of Hope – Finding Inner Peace and Healing Through Stage IV Cancer, which became a lifeline for many facing similar battles.

Through her writing, she offered comfort, strength, and guidance, proving that even in the face of adversity, peace and healing could be found.

She also spoke at major events, including the Miami Breast Cancer Conference, a Fortune 100 healthcare company, and Living Beyond Breast Cancer’s Thriving Together 2024 Conference, where her words inspired audiences and highlighted the importance of resilience and advocacy.

Brittney’s story reached even wider audiences through the documentary Thriver: A Survivor Story, released on Amazon and YouTube. The film, which won awards worldwide, showcased her journey and supported MetaVivor’s mission to fund breast cancer research.

Her courage and openness in sharing her experiences helped raise awareness and gave hope to countless individuals navigating their own battles with cancer.

Funeral arrangements have been coordinated locally. A cremation service will be held on June 26, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Collison Carey Hand Funeral Home in Winter Garden, Florida.

While no formal services are planned, family and friends are encouraged to honor her memory by celebrating her life, sharing condolences, and carrying forward the values she embodied.

Brittney Beadle’s life was defined by courage, creativity, and compassion. She inspired others not only through her advocacy, writings, and public speaking but also through her everyday actions and the joy she found in simple pleasures.

Her bond with her dog Buck symbolized her resilience and love, and her adventurous spirit reflected her determination to live fully despite the challenges she faced.

She leaves behind a legacy of hope, strength, and inspiration that will continue to guide those who knew her and those touched by her story. Though her life ended far too soon, Brittney’s impact will live on, reminding us all of the power of courage and the importance of embracing life with love and purpose.
