Venezuelans in South Florida Urge Immediate Action Against Maduro Regime

People from Venezuela in South Florida joined thousands of other people around the world in asking the world to examine what they call “crimes against humanity” happening in Venezuela.

People from Venezuela in more than 150 places around the world took to the streets to ask the International Criminal Court to speed up the case.

“They have been told for a long time that Nicolás Maduro needs to be arrested. What else do they need to be sure? “There is a lot of proof that his government did bad things,” said Maria Teresa Morin from the opposition group Comando Con Venezuela.

At a gathering in Doral, protesters wore red lipstick and scarves to show their support. Some people had a red handprint on their lips to show that they had to be quiet because of Maduro’s rule.

The ICC will start a week of talks in the Netherlands on Monday. Leaders of Venezuela’s opposition say that the plan seems to focus on other issues rather than Venezuela.

“We found a peaceful solution in Venezuela because they asked us to.” “The election was fair, and we won,” Jose Prusza said.

Leaders of the opposition are against the arrest of more than 2,000 political prisoners. Some of them say they are being treated badly and that the legal system is not fair to them.
