Louisville, Kentucky– In a disturbing and calculated plot, 34-year-old Tiffany Gregory from Kentucky was arrested on Tuesday after allegedly attempting to trigger a life-threatening allergic reaction in her ex-mother-in-law—who is also the grandmother of her children—with the help of her two young kids.

According to Louisville Metro Police, Gregory now faces serious charges, including unlawful transaction with a child, first-degree wanton endangerment, and second-degree stalking. She is currently being held at Louisville Metro Detention Center on a $25,000 cash-only bond.

The Dangerous Plan

It all began months ago when the unnamed victim reported that she had been receiving threatening text messages from Gregory. She also told authorities that she had spotted Gregory driving past her house multiple times, raising concern for her safety.

Then, in early April, Gregory allegedly sent the victim a secretly recorded video of her standing in line at a Walgreens store — a clear attempt at intimidation.

But things escalated dangerously on July 7.

That day, Gregory picked up her two children, ages 8 and 11, under the pretense of taking them to the zoo. But before that, she told them they had to “run an errand.”

According to police, that “errand” involved having the children stomp on bell peppers — a vegetable she knew their grandmother was highly allergic to. The crushed peppers were then put into a gift bag, which was intended to be delivered to the grandmother’s house.

Kids Refuse – Friend Steps In

Thankfully, the children refused to take part in the plot, telling their mother they knew it could harm their grandmother.

Instead, Gregory allegedly contacted a friend, who helped her complete the task. That friend reportedly placed the bag of crushed bell peppers on the victim’s car along with a handwritten card that read:

“You messed up my life. Have fun with your allergic reaction, b—.”

Fortunately, the victim’s husband discovered the bag in time and threw it away, likely preventing a medical emergency.

Earlier Incident: Chemical on Door Handle

The police report also mentions that back in mid-June, Gregory’s children had informed investigators that their mother was planning to deliver “legal paperwork” to their grandmother.

Instead, Gregory allegedly rubbed a pink substance on the victim’s car door handle during a visit. The victim wiped it off with a napkin — but later that day, she reportedly woke up in the hospital due to an allergic reaction.

Key Evidence in the Case

  • Testimonies from Gregory’s children, detailing their mother’s intentions
  • The birthday card with a threatening message
  • The crushed bell peppers discovered by the victim’s husband
  • Video footage and text messages sent to the victim
  • The chemical substance found on the car door

Court Proceedings

Tiffany Gregory appeared in court on Wednesday and entered a plea of not guilty to all charges.
She remains in custody at the Louisville Metro Detention Center, and her next court hearing is scheduled for August 7.

Charges Filed:

  • Unlawful transaction with a child
  • Wanton endangerment in the first degree
  • Stalking in the second degree

This case highlights the disturbing extent to which personal vendettas can spiral into dangerous criminal behavior — and how crucial it is when children are brave enough to speak up and stop potential harm.
