Two Michigan Residents Arrested During Traffic Stop for Meth Sales, Police Say

Mancelona, MI – Two Michigan residents were arrested in connection with methamphetamine sales following a traffic stop on US-131, authorities said. The arrests were part of a coordinated investigation involving state and local law enforcement.

Arrests Made During Traffic Stop

According to the Michigan State Police, 33-year-old Bryon Angel of Muskegon and 28-year-old Autumn Spedoske of Grand Rapids were taken into custody on Monday, August 4. The traffic stop occurred after officers obtained evidence of methamphetamine sales.

Antrim County deputies assisted the Straights Area Narcotics Enforcement unit with the arrests, according to the police release.

Charges and Evidence Seized

Both Angel and Spedoske face multiple charges, including:

  • Delivery of methamphetamine
  • Using a computer to commit a crime
  • Possession of methamphetamine and ecstasy
  • Maintaining a drug house

During the investigation, officers seized approximately 132 grams of suspected methamphetamine, further linking the pair to the alleged drug operation.

Arraignment and Court Dates

The two defendants were arraigned on Friday, August 8, with bond set at $50,000 each. They are scheduled to appear again in court on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, to continue proceedings.

Authorities continue to investigate the extent of the drug operation and have asked the public to report any additional information about similar criminal activity in the area.
