Two Killed, One Hurt in New Year’s Eve Gas Station Shooting

HOLMES CO., Miss. (latestsports) – A tragic shooting at a Holmes County gas station on New Year’s Eve claimed two lives and left a third person injured. The incident occurred around 11 p.m. Tuesday at the Shell gas station on Highway 17, according to Holmes County Sheriff Willie March.

Deputies arrived to find 21-year-old Brian Grisby Jr. deceased at the front door of the store. Another victim, 19-year-old De’Marion Sly, was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. A third individual, 22-year-old Antine Fisher, was grazed by a bullet. Fisher was treated for minor injuries and released.

Authorities are currently investigating the shooting and working to identify a suspect. Sheriff March emphasized the urgency of finding those responsible and encouraged anyone with information to come forward.
