Two charged with capital murder in fatal Fort Worth shooting

KWTX, Fort Worth, Texas Two defendants have been charged with capital murder by the Fort Worth Police Department in relation to a shooting death.

Tai Sanders, 17, and Paige Wheaton, 20, are accused by police of capital murder in connection with J Tavian Howard’s death.

Police were called to a shooting at the 2800 block of Broadmoor Drive on November 28.

Investigators discovered that Howard was shot dead while Sanders and Wheaton were committing or attempting to conduct aggravated robbery, according to police.
