Trump Makes a Crazy Claim That Biden is "Guilty of Providing Material Support for Terrorism"

Former President Donald Trump falsely said that Vice President Joe Biden was “materially supporting terrorism.”

Eight people from Tajikistan were arrested this week in New York, Los Angeles, and Philadelphia. The guys came into the U.S. through the southern border and were checked out by officials before they were let in. After that, detectives found possible links between the men and the ISIS terrorist group.

A joint statement from ICE and the FBI said, “The people arrested are being held by ICE until their removal proceedings are over.” “Recent public and partner bulletins from the FBI and DHS say that the US has been in a high-threat environment.”

Republicans have used the event to say that Biden’s plans on the border could kill people.

On his 78th birthday Friday night, Trump spoke in West Palm Beach, Florida, and said that the president was backing terrorism.

“Any service or tangible or intangible property” is what U.S. law means by “material support or resources.” That is against the law according to the Antiterrorism Act of 1996 if you “knowingly provide material support to a foreign terrorist organization that has been designated by the Secretary of State.”
