NORTH CONWAY, New Hampshire (Latestsports) — Police say a 12-year-old boy died after crashing into a tree while skiing at Cranmore Mountain in North Conway, New Hampshire.
Rescue personnel responded to Cranmore Mountain around 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday for a report of a 12-year-old boy who appeared to have hit a tree while skiing on the Bandit Trail.
The boy was unconscious, and CPR was underway, according to officials.
The boy was taken to MaineHealth Memorial Hospital in North Conway where he died as a result of the injuries he suffered in the crash.
The Bandit Trail is listed as an intermediate level trail.
The boy’s name has not been released.
