A four-month-old baby girl died over the July 4 holiday weekend from being sick from the heat while on a boat with her family. It was 121 degrees outside.
A GoFundMe page set up to help the family says that Tanna Rae Wroblewski died in a terrible accident.
The baby was rushed to the hospital on July 5 from a boat on Arizona’s Lake Havasu because of heat sickness, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal. On that day, the lake was warmer than 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
Wroblewski was taken to the Children’s Hospital in Phoenix, but he died there.
The baby was on the boat before it got sick, but the police didn’t say why. The Independent has called the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office to find out if the investigation is still going on and if any charges have been brought.
On the GoFundMe page, it says that the child passed out and the family began CPR. When the firemen got there, they kept trying to save the child’s life before taking them to the hospital.
Then she was flown to Phoenix Children’s Hospital, where doctors did everything they could to bring her back to life. But God had other plans, and that night he took Tanna to heaven.
The child’s death left the family “devastated” and “heartbroken.”
“Our precious daughter smiled at us one last time and kissed us one last time.” “We’ll never understand why you had to leave so soon; you were too good for us,” the GoFundMe said.
The fundraiser earned almost $49,000, but no more donations can be made.
