Three Arrested After Large Quantities of Cocaine and Meth Seized in Jamestown Raid

Jamestown, NY – Authorities say three men are now facing multiple felony charges after a significant narcotics raid on Palmer Street Thursday afternoon, where investigators reported finding cocaine, crack cocaine, fentanyl, methamphetamine, and drug-processing tools inside an upper apartment.

At around 4:10 p.m., members of the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force and Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at 516 Palmer Street, following an investigation into the sale and distribution of illegal narcotics. According to information shared by officials, the Jamestown Police Department SWAT Team forced entry into the residence and encountered Jamal M. Jackson, 33, a Jamestown resident, along with Krystafur J. Bowman, 30, and Jamarr A. Cunningham, 30, both of Buffalo.

Drugs and Equipment Seized in the Apartment

Investigators say the search uncovered large quantities of controlled substances, including 136.1 grams of cocaine, 15.9 grams of crack cocaine, 291.5 grams of fentanyl, and 485.3 grams of methamphetamine. Officers also seized drug-related items such as digital scales, a glass bowl used to cook narcotics, packaging materials, and a significant amount of U.S. currency believed to be linked to drug sales.

Authorities noted that Jackson allegedly tried to escape by climbing out of a second-story window before being taken into custody at the scene.

Charges Filed Against All Three Suspects

Police say all three men were arrested and transported to the Jamestown City Jail. Each suspect faces a long list of charges, including:

  • First-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance
  • Two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance
  • Three counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance
  • Two counts of second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia

Officials also confirmed that all three individuals are convicted felons. They were arraigned in Jamestown City Court before Judge John Lamancuso Jr. and later transported to the Chautauqua County Jail, where they are being held without bail.

The Jamestown Police Department reported assistance from several supporting agencies, including the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, Dunkirk Police Department, and Jamestown Fire Department. The Dangers of Hard Drug Distribution

Local officials emphasize that large-scale possession and distribution of fentanyl, cocaine, and methamphetamine pose severe risks to the community. Fentanyl in particular has been responsible for a rising number of overdoses nationwide. Law enforcement agencies across New York continue to coordinate operations designed to reduce the circulation of these dangerous substances.

Efforts to Combat Drug Trafficking

Authorities in Chautauqua County say they are increasing surveillance, partnering with state and federal agencies, and encouraging anonymous tips from residents to disrupt drug networks. Recent operations, including Thursday’s raid, highlight the ongoing law-enforcement push to curb narcotics sales and protect public safety.
