There Are Going to Be Layoffs in Missouri at Two Unexpected Businesses

Worker Adjustment Retraining Notification notices say that two companies that no one expected are going to lay off workers in Missouri soon.

There is a law called WARN that says employers with more than 100 full-time employees have to give 60 days’ notice before firing 50 or more people in one place. This is something you should keep in mind.

This week, two companies told the Missouri Office of Workforce Development through WARN letters that they were going to lay off workers in Missouri.

Southern Glazers says that on November 1, 94 people will lose their jobs in St. Charles.

Only two people are being let go from Omega Healthcare’s Oak Grove office on September 30.

There are, however, other companies in Missouri that are cutting jobs besides Southern Glazers and Omega Healthcare.
