“It is especially unfortunate that a teacher would be involved in such alleged despicable acts,” Constable Alan Rosen said in a statement. “No matter who they are or where they roam, predators are subject to being pursued by our detectives.”
Authorities say Taylor was arrested shortly after working with students at the school’s field house. Officials confirmed he has also worked in other school districts in the Houston area and in Fort Stockton, in West Texas.
Taylor is charged with online solicitation of a minor, a second-degree felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison.
