Memphis, TN – A Tennessee woman was hospitalized after a 19-year-old allegedly used her car to pin her against a building during a confrontation at a Sunoco gas station earlier this month. Authorities are investigating the incident, which has left the community shocked.
Alleged Incident at Sunoco Station
On Sept. 4, police responded to a report of a violent altercation at a Sunoco gas station in Memphis. According to the arrest affidavit, Hannah Graham, 19, and her friend were inside a gold Nissan Altima when they became involved in an argument with another woman standing outside the station.
During the argument, Graham allegedly “hit the gas” and intentionally pinned the woman against the building with her vehicle, before fleeing the scene. Police have not released details about the nature of the argument.
Victim’s Injuries and Hospitalization
The alleged victim was immediately transported to a nearby hospital following the incident. Medical staff determined that she had suffered a broken right femur and required surgery. She remains under care for her injuries, which authorities have described as serious.
Witnesses at the scene reported that they knew the passenger in Graham’s vehicle. These statements helped police identify Graham as the driver involved in the incident.
Surveillance Footage Confirms Allegation
As part of the investigation, authorities reviewed surveillance video from the gas station. According to police, the footage shows Graham putting the Nissan into reverse, lining up the vehicle with the victim, and then hitting the gas, pinning the woman against the building.
The witness and the alleged victim later identified Graham in a six-person lineup, confirming her role in the incident. Reports also noted that the Sunoco building sustained visible damage due to the vehicle impact.
Charges and Legal Proceedings
Graham was subsequently arrested and charged with:

She was booked into the Shelby County Jail and held on $100,000 bond as of Wednesday. Graham is scheduled to return to court on Friday for a bond hearing.
