Police say they caught a woman giving $150 to $350 Botox shots in the parking lot of a Florida mall

Police say a woman from Miami is being charged with Botox shots she tried to give in a mall parking lot.

Miami–Dade police recently arrested Lina Alexandra Gutierrez-Farfan, who is 48 years old. There were charges against her for providing health care without a license and having prescription drugs on her with the plan to sell or deliver them.

A client told the police that he had several injections and that one of them left a lump on his forehead that didn’t go away for a month, according to a police report received by WPLG.

Police say that Gutierrez-Farfan charged $150 to $200 per lesson. Someone told the cops about the case because they thought Gutierrez-Farfan was a licensed provider.

The police planned to meet Gutierrez-Farfan in the Midway Crossing Mall parking lot for a sting.

Police said Gutierrez-Farfan agreed to give the shots in exchange for $350.

Police saw her taking a gray cooler bag out of her car when she got to the parking lot, the report said. When the police arrested her, they found two vials that they thought held Botox and a box that said what kind of filler it was.

The police also said they found needles and bandages in the cooler bag.

WPLG reports that when officers caught Gutierrez-Farfan, they found that she did not have a license to do any medical work in Florida.

She was let out of jail on a $5,000 bond.
