Police in Pittsburgh said a man from Pennsylvania was riding his motorcycle too fast while carrying drugs in his sock and a dog on his lap.
They said in a news statement that Devin Yake, who is 28 years old, was charged with the crime that happened last week in Lancaster County.
State police said Yake was pulled over on July 23 around 12:30 a.m. on Willow Valley Drive in West Lampeter Township for several traffic violations, such as speeding and careless driving. State police said Yake was driving with a pit bull on his lap, methamphetamine in his sock, marijuana, and drug tools.
There were arrest warrants out for Yake, so he was caught and sent to the Lancaster County Prison. Police in the state said he also looked like he was drunk.
The pit bull was taken to Yake’s house and “released to a responsible party,” the news report from state police said.
Yake is being charged with many things, such as DUI and drug abuse.
