Hamilton County, OH – Authorities say an Ohio mother-to-be was shot and killed by her baby’s father and two alleged accomplices just hours before she was scheduled for induced labor, police reported.
Alleged Plot to Kill Expectant Mother
According to the Hamilton County Prosecutor’s Office, 30-year-old Kayvon Warren allegedly enlisted Robert Ervin, 20, and Lamar Morris Suggs, 22, to murder India Kinamore, 26, on March 4, 2023, in Colerain Township. Prosecutors said the men were in a group chat that night planning the attack, which was intended to prevent Kinamore from giving birth later that day Cincinnati Enquirer.
Officers responding to 2369 Hiddenmeadows Drive at 4:40 a.m. found Kinamore with a fatal gunshot wound, discovered by her 6-year-old son, who called his grandmother for help.
Charges and Bond Status
Court records show that Warren, Ervin, and Suggs have each been charged with two counts of murder. Warren and Ervin were held on $600,000 bonds during arraignment, and if released, must wear ankle monitors. Suggs is currently incarcerated on unrelated charges and has not yet appeared in court for this case.
Digital evidence reportedly indicates that the three men planned and executed the shooting together Cincinnati Enquirer.
Family Reaction
India Kinamore’s mother, Terri Kinamore, told local media:
“My daughter can’t come back. I just don’t think it’s fair, at all” Cincinnati Enquirer.
Ervin’s attorney argued in court that his client “has no ties to this case” and “no ties to the deceased.”
