Nearly 50,000 Meth-Laced Adderall Pills Seized in Drug Bust Near Klein High School

Harris County, Texas – Authorities seized a massive cache of illegal drugs and arrested a 36-year-old man after executing search warrants at an apartment complex located directly across from Klein High School, officials confirmed. The bust uncovered what investigators described as a large-scale narcotics operation supplying multiple counties.

Multi-Agency Investigation Leads to Arrest

The operation unfolded on December 10, when multiple law enforcement agencies carried out coordinated raids as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation. Agencies involved included the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office, and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).

According to investigators, the case began with drug trafficking activity in Montgomery County before leading authorities to a suspected primary dealer operating out of Harris County.

“This investigation involved drug trafficking in Montgomery County and led to a primary dealer located in Harris County,” the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.

Suspect Identified and Charged

The suspect was identified as Zachary Disorbo, 36, who now faces multiple felony charges for the manufacture and delivery of narcotics in Harris County. Officials confirmed that Disorbo was arrested following the execution of two search warrants connected to the investigation.

One warrant was served at Disorbo’s residence, where authorities say they uncovered and dismantled a sophisticated narcotics distribution operation.

Apartment Near School Used as Stash House

A second warrant was executed at an apartment located directly across the street from Klein High School, raising serious concerns about the proximity of illegal drug activity to a school campus.

Investigators believe Disorbo was using the apartment as a stash house to store and distribute drugs. Inside the unit, law enforcement officers found an extensive quantity of narcotics packaged for distribution.

Authorities emphasized that the apartment was not used as a residence but strictly for storing illegal substances.

Massive Quantity of Drugs Seized

During the operation, law enforcement seized a wide range of illegal drugs, firearms, and cash. Officials released a detailed list of the items recovered:

  • Methamphetamine-laced Adderall: 18.5 kilograms, approximately 50,000 pills
  • Xanax: 10.8 kilograms, approximately 42,200 pills
  • THC: 107 pounds
  • Marijuana: 93 pounds
  • Promethazine with codeine: 1,532 ounces
  • Psilocybin mushrooms: 1.9 kilograms
  • Ketamine: 838 grams
  • Cocaine: 568 grams
  • Cash: $11,500
  • Firearms: Three weapons

Investigators noted that the volume and variety of drugs indicate a well-established trafficking network rather than a small-scale operation.

Public Safety Concerns Near School Grounds

Officials highlighted the seriousness of the case due to the apartment’s location near a high school. The presence of such a large amount of narcotics near students raised alarms among law enforcement and community members alike.

Authorities stressed that removing the drugs from circulation significantly reduces the risk of illegal substances reaching young people.

Investigation Remains Ongoing

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that the investigation is still active, suggesting that additional arrests or charges could follow.

“This operation successfully removed a substantial amount of dangerous illegal narcotics from the community,” the sheriff’s office said. “The investigation is active and ongoing, and no further information can be released at this time.”

Law enforcement did not disclose whether additional suspects are being sought or if the drugs were linked to distribution beyond Texas.

Community Impact and Next Steps

Officials emphasized that the seizure represents a major disruption to drug trafficking in the region. The combination of narcotics, firearms, and cash underscores the potential violence and harm associated with such operations.

Disorbo remains in custody as the case moves forward through the legal system. Court records and future hearings are expected to provide more details on the scope of the operation and potential sentencing.

Residents are encouraged to report suspicious activity in their neighborhoods as authorities continue efforts to combat drug trafficking.
