According to the congressman and officials in Haiti, a gang in Haiti has been responsible for the deaths of Ben Baker’s daughter and son-in-law. Baker is a state representative from Missouri.
According to Baker, his daughter Natalie Lloyd and his son-in-law Davy Lloyd were both serving as missionaries in Haiti, a country whose people are experiencing levels of gang violence that have never been seen before.
“They were attacked by gangs this evening and were both killed,” Baker, a Republican, said on Facebook early on Friday morning. “They were both killed on the spot.”
“My heart is broken in a thousand pieces,” Baker added. “I am completely lost.” “I’ve never felt this kind of pain.”
While the two Americans were on their way back from church in Lison, they were allegedly attacked by three cars, according to the reporting of the police. The gangs allegedly plundered their home, which led to their deaths, according to the police.
“Absolutely heartbreaking news,” the Governor of Missouri, Mike Parson, posted on X.
“Natalie and Davy were two young people sharing peace, comfort, and God’s word,” Parson explained to reporters. “In light of this unimaginable, senseless tragedy, we remember the good they offered the world.”
