Arnold, Missouri – A Missouri man faces serious charges after allegedly assaulting his girlfriend and her child following a dispute over a sold Xbox gaming console. Authorities say the alleged attack occurred after the girlfriend discovered the man’s alleged infidelity.

Alleged Assault Incident

Quinton Peters, 22, reportedly went to his girlfriend’s home on September 7 after learning she had sold his Xbox console, which she claimed was in response to his alleged cheating. According to a probable cause statement, Peters allegedly threw his girlfriend onto her bed, prompting her child to intervene.

Authorities stated that Peters also allegedly threw the child onto the bed. Fortunately, the child was not injured during the incident.

“She could not breathe throughout the ordeal,” the statement said, describing how Peters allegedly placed his hands around his girlfriend’s neck, lifted her off the floor, pinned her to a wall, and repeatedly banged her head against it.

The victim reportedly collapsed on the floor after Peters released her and refused emergency medical treatment, despite visible red marks on her neck.
