Missing Kansas Mom and Two Young Children Coerced into Traveling to Religious Rehabilitation Facility in Mexico KBI Report

A mother and her two young daughters are believed to have been “forced to travel to Mexico to a religious rehabilitation facility.” Investigators in Kansas have put out an “endangered persons advisory” for them.

The Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) said in a press release that they do not know where Martha Unger, 23, and her children Madilynn Grace Unger, 2, and Haylie Faith Unger, 1, are.

The KBI says that Unger and her children were last seen at their rural home in Haskell County just before 7 p.m. on June 28.

Investigators think they may have been forced to go to Mexico with Corney and Elizabeth Klaasen to a Christian rehab center.

People don’t know what kind of place they were taken to or where it is.

Police say they think the Klaasens are driving a white and black Chevy Blazer with a tag from Mexico.

The Klaasens are fifty years old. Corney is a man who is said to be about 6 feet 2 inches tall and weigh about 200 pounds. His last known outfit was pants and a button-up shirt. He is clean-shaven.

Police also think that Martha Unger drives a 2015 white Ford Explorer with the license plate number 301RJY.

KBI officials said that detectives want to make sure that Martha and her children are safe.

You can help the police find them by calling the Haskell County Sheriff’s Office at 620-675-2289 with information that could help them be found.

KBI officials also want anyone who sees the people or the car to call 911 right away.
