Despite sunny skies and strong south winds gusting at 30-35mph in a few spots, no record highs were recorded to close out the weekend.
As a cold front moves through, expect a line of showers and a few isolated rumbles of thunder to arrive after midnight. However, severe weather is not expected. Lows tonight will remain mild, ranging from the mid to upper 50s.
Monday: A Wet Start, Then Clearing
Expect a few showers as you head out the door Monday morning. The rain should taper off around midday, but more scattered showers are likely to return later in the afternoon and evening.
High temperatures on Monday will occur early in the morning, as the cold front passes through. After that, temperatures will level off and then gradually cool down throughout the day.
Overnight: Cooling Down
Besides a southern shower overnight, skies will begin to clear. Lows will drop to the mid and upper 40s, with a few spots falling to low 50s.
Tuesday: Fall-Like Weather
Tuesday will bring mostly sunny skies, with highs in the low to mid 60s, making for a crisp, fall-like day.
Wednesday and Thursday: Possible Frost
The biggest weather concern this week comes on Wednesday and Thursday mornings, as we could see patchy frost with lows in the 30s.
Aside from that, expect quiet weather for the rest of the week, with temperatures returning to more seasonal levels. A slight warm-up is in store for the weekend.
