Suspect Apprehended in Less Than 10 Minutes
Within minutes of arriving at the scene, a patrol officer spotted the car of interest in a nearby parking lot near the 2700 block of West Airline Highway. A traffic stop was initiated, and the driver was identified as Tyler Bourgeois, 20, from Louisiana.
Bourgeois was alone in the front of the vehicle, but it was soon discovered that another body was in the trunk.
Shocking Confession
After exiting the car, Bourgeois allegedly told officers that there was a body in the trunk. When they opened the trunk, authorities discovered the lifeless body of 21-year-old Tylen Anderson.

The pair reportedly parked near the initial crime scene, where a heated argument broke out between them. While the details of the argument remain unclear, Bourgeois allegedly revealed that he shot Anderson in the temple during the confrontation.
