Lincoln, NE – A 33-year-old man was stabbed early Saturday morning during an attempted robbery in north Lincoln, according to the Lincoln Police Department (LPD). The victim reportedly did not comply with the suspect’s demands and was left with a stab wound to his left shoulder.
Victim Attacked Near North 21st and Holdrege Streets
The incident took place around Saturday morning when the victim had parked his vehicle near North 21st and Holdrege streets. Police say that an unknown man approached the victim, armed with a knife, and demanded money.
When the victim refused to hand over any cash, the suspect stabbed him in the shoulder before fleeing the scene.
Victim Drives Himself to Hospital
Despite his injury, the victim was able to drive himself to the hospital for medical treatment. His condition was not immediately disclosed, but the Lincoln Police Department has confirmed that the investigation is still ongoing.
