Lando Norris seeks to keep his winning F1 run going at the Belgian Grand Prix

Lando Norris of Laren starts the Belgian Grand Prix in an attempt to extend his winning streak and increase his chances of winning the championship against teammate Oscar Piastri.

Following an emotional home victory earlier this month, Norris is hoping to win three Grand Prix races in a row for the first time in his Formula One career.

It may be the second consecutive wet race following Norris’ victory in Britain due to the possibility of rain in the woodlands.

Less than a tenth of a second separated Piastri from Norris as the second qualifier on Saturday. Charles Leclerc of Ferrari finished third, while Red Bull’s defending champion Max Verstappen finished fourth.

After Saturday’s sprint race in Belgium, Piastri sits nine points ahead of Norris in the standings. With Piastri in second place and Norris in third, Verstappen managed to hold off both McLarens to win the sprint.
