Indiana State Police Seek Help Finding Motorcyclist Who Fired at Car Carrying 11-Month-Old in Indianapolis

Indianapolis, IN – Indiana State Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a motorcyclist who allegedly fired shots at a car containing an 11-month-old child along Interstate 465 on the northeast side of Indianapolis.

Incident Details

The alleged shooting occurred around 6 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 21, on northbound I-465 near the I-69 interchange. Authorities said no injuries were reported, but the vehicle with the infant inside was struck by gunfire, creating a potentially life-threatening situation for the child and other occupants.

Suspect Description and Escape

After firing at the car, the motorcyclist reportedly exited I-465 onto Allisonville Road. State police have released a photo of the suspect and are asking anyone with information to come forward. The motorcyclist’s identity remains unknown.
