Three people were attacked, and two of them were cut, just a few feet from Santa Monica’s Third Street Promenade. Police are looking into what happened.
On Sunday, cops in Santa Monica were called to the 1500 block of 4th Street, near Parking Structure No. 7, for a report of a stabbing. When police arrived, they saw two people who had been stabbed and one person who had been beaten up but didn’t have any major injuries.
According to the police report, they started CPR on one person right away.
The police department did not say what kind of state the victims were in when they were found. Police said there was no reason for the killings.
Authorities have said that the two people who were stabbed are German tourists who are not connected to each other.
Larry Ameyal Cedeno, 29, was arrested by police, but the facts of his arrest were not made public. According to court records, Cedeno was homeless and on probation when he was caught. He had been charged with attempted grand theft of a car on May 9.
