Illegal Immigrant Nabbed in Georgia After Allegedly Molesting Four Children

An illegal immigrant in Georgia has been arrested after allegedly molesting four children under the age of 14.

Nery Antonio Gonzalez, 36, was arrested by the Valdosta Police Department on March 14 after detectives discovered that he had sexually abused four kids in various locations across the city.

According to the Valdosta Police Department, Gonzalez is in the United States illegally and is originally from Guatemala. Initially, cops were investigating Gonzalez for sexually assaulting two juveniles, but additional interviews lead them to two more victims.

Gonzalez faces five counts of felony child molestation, three counts of felony rape, four counts of felony aggravated sexual battery, four counts of sexual battery on a child under the age of 16, two counts of felony child molestation, and three counts of felony cruelty to a child in the first degree.

Police indicated that additional charges are pending because the investigation into Gonzalez is still ongoing. Chief Leslie Manahan of the Valdosta Police Department said in a statement that the four youngsters will be traumatised for the rest of their lives.

“There are no words to describe the heartbreak of the trauma that these children experienced and will have to live with for the rest of their lives.”

I am grateful that two of these victims were bold enough to inform someone, resulting in the arrest of this monster. This was excellent collaboration between our agency and our community partners to guarantee that these victims did not have to face this monster again,” Manahan added.
