Sade Robinson’s arm was found on a beach in Illinois and was later identified as hers. Robinson was 19 years old and from Milwaukee. She was killed after going on a date with the man who is now accused of killing her.
Another person walking along Waukegan Municipal Beach found the arm on May 11. This is what the Lake County Coroner’s Office said. The doctor said that DNA tests proved beyond a doubt that the arm belonged to Robinson.
Robinson’s family found out about the confirmation on Tuesday.
WI is about 50 miles away from the beach.
“I want to send our deepest condolences from the Lake County Coroner’s Office to Sade’s family and friends as they continue to deal with this terrible loss,” Coroner Jennifer Banek said in a statement.
In a statement released Tuesday, the family’s lawyer, Verona Swanigan, said that Robinson’s mother, Sheena Scarbrough, “is devastated and feels like her heart is being cut out as she is constantly tortured with this accumulating news of her daughter’s heinous murder.”
In April, more body parts were found in different places. These included a torso, another arm, a severed right leg, and a foot with pink nail paint on it.
A criminal charge says that her 2020 Honda Civic was found on April 2 with heavy damage to the inside from a fire.
“To completely gather her daughter’s belongings to do her daughter’s last and final move back home,” Swanigan said of Robinson’s mother, says NBC.
“Sheena Scarbrough cannot help but wonder at what ends of the earth her daughter’s head and the remainder of her body may be if her arm traveled to Waukegan, IL.,” Swanigan told us.
Maxwell Anderson, 33, of Milwaukee was caught and charged with first-degree intentional homicide, mutilating a corpse, and setting Robinson’s body on fire.
According to the sheriff’s office report, they went on a date on April 1.
It says that video from the spot where the severed leg was found shows a “human figure” going down the hill toward the beach. Officials say video from a bus and a grocery store showed a man walking away from a car that was on fire. It also says that a witness saw a man get out of Robinson’s car from the driver’s side and throw a lit lighter inside.
He said he wasn’t guilty and is being held on $5 million bail.
It was said by Swanigan that Robinson’s family wants Anderson to “confess.”
“I want the body parts of my daughter!” “Sade shouldn’t have to spend all of eternity lost because of Anderson’s bad plans,” Scarbrough said through his lawyer. “I’ve been in terrible mental pain for 79 days because I haven’t been able to see my child or find out where she is.” I hope that the police or his family can finally get him to talk so that I can stop being so upset about not knowing what happened to my daughter or where her body is.
