On Friday, police in New Hampshire said that a man has been charged in connection with a hit-and-run human accident that happened after a fight on the road in October.
Police said that Nathaniel Duehart, 25, of Manchester, was arrested on Thursday and charged with simple attack, a Class A misdemeanor, and conduct after an accident, a Class B felony.
On October 4, police were called to Dunkin’ at 119 East Hollis St. in Nashua about a hit-and-run accident involving a passenger.
When the police arrived, they found that a woman had been hit by a car after a fight on the road. Police said the victim was taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.
Officers got the license plate number of the suspect car and a description of the driver from people who saw it.
With help from Hudson Police, police later found the suspect’s car and the driver, who was later identified as Duehart.
Police said that detectives from the Criminal Investigation Division who were looking into the case later got a warrant for Duehart’s arrest.
Duehart, who was already out on parole with the New Hampshire Department of Corrections, turned down bail and was tried on Friday at the 9th Circuit, District Division in Nashua.
