Greensboro, NC – Authorities in Guilford County executed a significant narcotics investigation on Wednesday, September 17, resulting in the seizure of large quantities of illegal drugs and the arrest of a local man. The Guilford County Narcotics Task Force conducted search warrants at two separate residences, uncovering methamphetamine, cocaine, marijuana, ecstasy, and firearms.

Drugs and Firearms Seized

The investigation led to the confiscation of:

  • 17 pounds of methamphetamine
  • 2,800 grams of cocaine
  • 19 pounds of marijuana
  • 15 dosage units of ecstasy
  • 3 firearms

Authorities emphasized that the seizure represents a major disruption of drug trafficking in Guilford County.

Arrest and Charges

Following the investigation, 33-year-old Vincent Almont Ruff Jr. was taken into custody. Ruff faces multiple felony charges, including:

  • 2 counts of Felony Trafficking Cocaine
  • 2 counts of Felony Trafficking Methamphetamine
  • 2 counts of Felony Trafficking Marijuana
  • Felony Maintaining a Dwelling/Vehicle for Controlled Substances
  • Felony Possession with Intent to Manufacture, Sell, or Deliver Controlled Substances

Ruff is currently held in the Guilford County Detention Center under a $1,000,000 secured bond.
