Four People Have Been Killed in Linn County, and Now a Fourth Person Has Died From Their Injuries

LINN COUNTY, Iowa — Iowa’s News Now has learned that Brent Brown has died from his injuries. He was the fourth person to be beaten in Linn County. Luke Truesdell is now in Linn County Jail on four counts of first-degree murder charges. This is the first known case of four murders in Linn County.

They were called to the 3600 block of East Otter Road in Marion on Wednesday because four people were bleeding from the head. They found three people dead from blows to the head when they got there. three people: Romondus Cooper, 44, Keonna Ryan, 26, and Amanda Parker, 33. Brown was flown to UIHC to get medical help, but he died from his injuries.

Police found Truesdell at the scene of the crime. He told them “that he hit the four victims and identified a metal pipe as the weapon he used,” the criminal report says. The police are still looking into what caused the attack. Truesdell gave many reasons for what he did, and one of them was that he wanted a movie to follow the killings.

The last mass murder in eastern Iowa was by Steve Sueppel, an Iowa City banker who was facing federal charges of fraud. He killed his wife and four adopted children before crashing his car on I-80 and setting himself on fire in March 2008.
