FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Court papers say that in May, four men from Fayetteville stabbed and beat a security guard outside of a bar on Dickson Street.
Farico Baymon, 31, Ladarius Green, 23, and Ladalvin Brandon, 25, were arrested by Fayetteville police on July 9 on charges of aggravated assault and taking part in a violent criminal group action. About 30 years old Antonio Nash was caught by the U.S. Marshals Service on July 8 on the same charges.
An original police report said that around 2 a.m. on May 5, Fayetteville police were called to Yeehawg on Dickson Street for a physical altercation involving several young women.
A security guard saw what was going on and tried to break up the fight. The guard was grabbed by a woman, and four guys who were with her surrounded him, the report said.
The story then said that Nash, Baymon, and Brandon joined Green in punching the guard. The men are said to have kept punching the guard, leaving multiple cuts and big bruises.
The affidavit said, “During the disturbance, the victim was stabbed twice in the back.”
After the fight, the security guard was taken to a nearby hospital and stitched up stab wounds.
Police used cell phone videos shared on social media and the help of bystanders to figure out who the suspects were. Authorities say someone who was there heard Nash say that he stabbed the guard.
Green, Baymon, and Nash were all caught on tape and admitted to being in it, but none of them admitted to stabbing the person, the affidavit said.
There are no changes made to the original sentence. Nash has a $100,000 bond that keeps him in jail. Green, Brandon, and Baymon are all being held on a $75,000 bond. All of them have court dates on July 29.
