The Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office caught a man who brought a child from North Carolina to his home in Gwinnett County.
The United States Marshals asked Gwinnett County police for help on July 3 to find a 14-year-old girl.
Police say that the suspect, 18-year-old Kevin Carcamo-Garcia, was seeing the girl. He admitted to stealing the child from North Carolina to Georgia after being arrested on July 17 in his home in Gwinnett County.
The 14-year-old girl was found and taken to the Georgia Department of Family and Children Services, where her mother can pick her up.
Deputies said Garcia was given a $11,400 fee for statutory rape and child molestation charges.
