Danville, Ill. – Two Danville residents are facing multiple charges after police responded to a gunshot report Wednesday morning that led to the discovery of firearms, drugs, and cash during a search of a local residence.
Shooting Report Sparks Investigation
At 8:36 a.m. Wednesday, Danville police officers were dispatched to the intersection of Jackson Street and Cherry Street following a report of gunfire. Upon arrival, officers identified Clayvonte Sloan as a suspect and stopped him while he was leaving the area in a vehicle.
Search of Jackson Street Residence
Investigators then focused their attention on a residence in the 400 block of N. Jackson Street, where they made contact with Talicia Duckworth, also of Danville. A court-ordered search warrant was executed at the property.
Inside, officers discovered:

- Suspected methamphetamine (5–15 grams)
