Dallas, TX – Dallas SWAT officers conducted a raid last week at a suspected drug house in Northwest Dallas, arresting five suspects and seizing fentanyl, crack cocaine, methamphetamine, firearms, and body armor, authorities confirmed.
Multi-Week Investigation Leads to Raid
The operation took place on August 22 at the 3300 block of Webb Chapel Extension. Dallas police said patrol officers had spent several weeks gathering evidence and conducting surveillance before executing the search warrant.
Suspects and Charges
Among those arrested, 22-year-old Oscar Garza faces the most serious charges. Prosecutors have charged him with two counts of first-degree felony drug manufacturing, along with weapons and body armor violations as a convicted felon.
The remaining suspects – Melissa Martinez, 32; Marissa Davis, 26; Alicia Kruse, 40; and Sara Vandeneyde, 39 – each had outstanding narcotics warrants at the time of their arrest.
Drugs and Weapons Seized
During the raid, officers confiscated:
- 6.6 grams of fentanyl
- 4 grams of crack cocaine
- 0.5 grams of methamphetamine
- 26.7 grams of suspected fentanyl pending lab confirmation
Authorities also recovered two handguns, including one reported stolen, and a ballistic vest equipped with armor plates.
Police Statement
Major Paul Thai, commander of the Northwest Patrol Division, emphasized the significance of the bust:
“This successful investigation is one example of how we are disrupting criminal activity in Dallas. Criminals involved in drug sales should be on notice that Dallas is not the place for this activity.”
Officials noted the deadly potential of fentanyl, warning that just two milligrams can cause a fatal overdose.
